Planning Trip to Asia
My husband and I are planning a trip to Asia in 2011. When is the best time to go?
We would like to go to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore.
We would be leaving from Chicago. What is the best order?
We would like to spen 4 days in Hong Kong and Bangkok and 2 days in Singapore.
Where to start?

Bangkok is best weather-wise in Nov, Dec, Jan. Those are fine months for Hong Kong as well, though it will be much cooler in Hong Kong. Singapore, being right on the equator, doesn't have a lot of temperature variation month to month, though December is perhaps the best time. Note that the last two weeks in December through the first week in January are the highest season for these areas and the prices will likewise be high.
The best order will depend on which airline(s) you take.

Nov.-Dec. is best. You should see about flying into Bangkok and out of Hong Kong or vice versa.. That would be easiest, with Sinmgapore in the middle. Your day breakdown is good. BKK and HK are more interesting than S.

i would fly where-ever the schedule is best....perhaps fly to singapore (which is probably the easiest to deal with) and home from HK with a bkk stop in the middle...
look at air asia for internal flights in asia...
or do just the opposite routing....
cathy pacific is one carrier or singapore air on a united ticket... or united (ugh) itself....or thai air....or air canada....
