Planning own trip???

I have contacted several agencies about a trip to Vietnam,Laos and Siem Reap. My general trip is south to north in March-April. Siem Reap- Laos-Hanoi to Sapa- Hue and Hoian It may be a bit more complicated in regards to flights because we are trying to visit friends in HK. Also several have not replied at all - including Exotissimo!!! I cannot find anyone in Vietnam to book any flights outside of Vietnam with the exception of Tolkin Travel. I have checked Jetstar and their destinations often don't match our plans. I am now considering using a local SF- travel agent to book all the flights and that I cannot book on my own. Any suggestions ??? on how to book this trip?

I planned a simliar trip all on my own....this board is a great resource.
For Vietnam Air flights, you can book on Expedia, which is what I did. I also had good luck with hotel and flight bookings with vietnamstay.com. They were very responsive and professional.
Siem Reap Airways flys from HKG to Siem Reap.

Hi,
It's not difficult to book flight in and out of Vietnam. If you book the air ticket from SiemRiep To Lao or Lao to Vietnam is higher than book it in at the departure place. You can book your ticket to Hong Kong from Hanoi in Vietnam, as I know the price about 300USD/1way ticket.

For your Hanoi Sapa trip I used Buffulo tours, they also booked my trip to Siem Reap but I was in Hanoi, I live here, they were very good at emailing me back. Hope this helps, please ask me if I can be of any help.

Zin, if you want to try to reach Exotissimo, try using this direct e-mail; Quyen is the person who helped me change hotels in Saigon (after I had pre-paid) and I was impressed by her organization and follow-through.
