Traveling next December with my family (2 adults and 3 teens). I am torn between staying at the JW Marriott in Phuket and Pimilai in Kho Lanta. As a matter of ambiance I’d much prefer Pimilai but it’s clearly much more difficult to get to Koh Lanta and that probably would cause us to spend an extra day there. Not a hardship obviously but it means one less day for other places. The JW Marriott looks nice but I can go to a Marriott on a beach anywhere. Any advice?
