Photo Exhibit Fundraiser for Ponheary Ly Foundation

Fellow Fodorites supporters of the Ponheary Ly Foundation, asked that I post this information for folks in the Seattle area. The best images from two trips to Cambodia will be on exhibit in Bellevue for the next
month with all proceeds going directly to the PLF. In addition to serene Cambodian scenes there are beautiful photographs of kids at the schools that the PLF supports. The key image for the show is one taken of the kids at Koh Ker school.

Here are the details for the show:

Beyond Angkor:
The Children of Cambodia
Omega Photo
1100 Bellevue Way NE STE 6
Bellevue, WA 98004
M-F 9:30 - 7:00
Sat 10:00 - 6:00
SUN 12:00 - 5:00
March 15 thru April 15

Saturday March 22, from Noon to 2:30 I'll be there meeting folks and talking about Cambodia and the PLF. It would be great to meet any other PLF supporters that could make it by.

Previews of the images can be seen at http://www.jeffspeigner.com/

The photos are phenomenal- if you get a chance to see this show...GO!

Jeff- are you making the pictures available for purchase even if people CAN'T make it to the show?

People who have been to the school with Ponheary may be interested even if they can't see your show...

Thanks Beth, and sure pictures can be purchased without attending the show in person, and all the money goes to the Ponheary Ly Foundation. Its an opportunity to score lovely art to remind you of Cambodia while contributing to the future of its children by supporting the PLF.

Interested folks should contact me via mail for prices. It doesn't seem right post them here. They are reasonable though.

Thanks Kathie, 'twas a real pleasure meeting you and your friend too. Together we raised $900 for Ponheary's kids just that afternoon. Not bad for a few short hours. Lori tells me the funds will support the breakfast program in Koh Ker. Good timing as the price of rice is rising sharply in SEAsia.

I was out of the country when this was originally posted so I missed it.
Jeff, thanks so much for doing this!
My mom and I were there this past December so I know how important it is to get any attention and help to Koh Ker and the other schools.
Great photos!

Beautiful, moving photographs, wish I could have seen them at the exhibition. This is on my wish list and I may try to go later this year. I am avidly reading as many of the posts as I can.

Thanks for the nice comments. Just to be clear the photos will be available for viewing and purchase at Omega Photo for two more weeks. It's just that I won't be there. So anyone interested still has an opportunity to see them.

Jeff,

Please fill us in on how the show went...

I know I'd love to hear about it since I wasn't able to be there, I'm sure others would be as well.
