Bob,
yes, I was in the first class at Olin. Sorry for the delayed response - just got back from Thailand! (trip report coming soon, I promise)
I loved Olin & the hands-on engineering curriculum, although I'm now pursuing mathematics instead of engineering, I wouldn't trade my time at Olin for anything.

Bob perhaps in first grade when they were teaching spelling you were not paying attention- I suspect you were gazing at that globe in the room - in the area of SE Asia- BKK to be exact!

Bob's reading is fine, it's his comprehension skills that are lacking. Might I also suggest that the location of our educations was hardly the critical factor. Given all his severe limitations, he has done quite well.

Andy,

Noticed that your birthday is very close to Bob's, only 15 days apart! Do you celebrate together?

That does not mean that I will stop making fun of Bob. He has chosen his path. Hence, he is path-etic.

Ptoooey. You've just dragged this up from oblivion to grab the attention of the judges when they award the Annual Golden Toaster Trophy for most relentlessly detailed [some might even say, anal retentive] post of the 2009 Fodor's season.

I know your evil ways.

One interested party is the exact number. Thousands of uninterested parties is also correct.
