i'm concerned that we will have bad weather when we go... seems like everything (weather wise) is happening later than expected...

At one point the rain will shift from the Andaman Sea to the Gulf. We've been to Phuket three times in late November and never seen rain. I would just cross my fingers. However, I think ten days is too much time in Phuket. You could use the earlier time in either Bangkok or Chiang Mai and give yourself a much better chance of avoiding the rain. A beach is not very interesting during a rainstorm.

I'm flying to Phuket Nov 18-Nov 26. I'm planning to go to Ko Phi Phi islands as well. Is that too much time for both? I arrive at 9:15am on the 18th and leave at 10:30am on the 26th.
