Nora Beach Resort

Looking at possibly booking Nora Beach Resort but have a couple of question for anyone who has stayed or seen. Are there beach bars and restaurants within walking distance of the Nora? When originally looking at Choeng Mon, it was said that in afternoons & evenings the beach chairs fold up and become mini restaurants & bars. Is this the case close to where the Nora is (I know I can catch a cab into central Chaweng, but definitely prefer beach front type places).
Thanx for any assistance. Everyone has been so much help in the past. I hope that once I come back I can be of as much assistance to others.
Warm Regards

In Koh Samui? It's new and I haven't seen it. It seems from their website that they have a restaurant with beach tables. It is a pleasant walk on the beach to Chaweng and a horrible walk on the road. Road is busy and sidewalks are not good/not existent, not to mention the traffic, which is quite amazing for an island the size of Samui. Resort looks perfectly nice though in pictures.

Hi again,
What I was actually after was beach walking distance from the Nora to any other beach bars, etc. For instance - the walking distance from the Nora to Amari Palm or Muang Samui. If anyone has any experience with that it would be much appreciated. I do plan on taking transport to get to central Chaweng when need be, but I also like to just walk outside my resort for 5-10 min to some beach eateries or bars. Just trying to determine if the Nora is too far away.
Thanx again for any advice or help.
Warm Regards

These recent reviews probably tell you all about how far and also people's experiences there

Unless you want to be right in the busiest areas being a little off center is usually better.
