New Years Eve Singapore

Does anyone have any suggestions for a festive place to have dinner on New Years Eve?

Al of the hotels and restuarants in Singapore will have festive NYE dinners/parties. So give us some more hints: what kind of food? High budget/low budget?

I guess something with an Asian feel - French influence would be fine. We're looking for something good so we're willing to splurge.

Thanks so much!

One option might be Doc Cheng's in Raffles Hotel. It's a Pan-Asian place. I've had Xmas eve dinners there and it was lovely and quite festive. If you want to go there, make reservations early and ask for one of the curtained booths - very romantic.
