Nepal- recipe?

We had smashing spicy peanuts a few times in Nepal. They were on the menu as a nibble and went down a bundle with beer. They were served freshly cooked with ginger chilli and I think garlic .
No doubt there were other spices as well.
Does anyone know what they might have been ?
Thanks

I've just made a batch of cashews with lemon grass chilli and fish sauce and brown sugar but I still long for those from Nepal.
Anyone?

Where in Nepal did you eat these? The hotel or restaurant could likely provide you with the recipe.

Why didn't I think of that?
I have emailed the place where I had the best recipe nuts - I'll let you know.
Thank you!
