Need help with searching on site

I've usually entered my screen name into the search box to quickly find my most recent posts, but for some reason it's not working for me. I get older posts and not the most recent of this month. Any ideas. I feel so stupid.

Just click on your name, and all of your posts will come up.

Search for your name first (assuming you can't find one of your posts). Then click into the post which appears on the left. Click on your name, all your posts will turn up. Your name will appear beside the word "forum" at the top of the posts.

Clicking my name brings up all my posts, but recently I've had no luck searching for post by keywords.

I was looking for a post from about a year ago, and didn't want to slog thru all my list of oldies. The post I wanted had a lot of specific words..Rein's Deli, merrit parkway, etc. No matter what I put in, it never came up. AArgh!

Periodically, the search function seems to stop working. I expect it does have to do with indexixng and re-indexing...
