Sorry, I mis-remembered what Amazon wrote to me about the map:

"Nancy Chandler "Nancy Chandler's Map of Bangkok"

Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize for the inconvenience we have caused you.

We have cancelled this item from your order."

Shanek-Don't agonize, just buy the map. It's a little peculiar, but has so much superb information that it's definitely worth it. Every restaurant we've tried from the map (even ones that we had no other info about)was good. Each area seems to have some interesting tidbit that added to our meandering enjoyment.

Re: ordering Nancy Chandler's map. Amazon couldn't get it to me either. I Googled: "Nancy Chandler map of Bangkok" and came up with a travel bookstore in San Francisco. It was $9.95. I'll post the name and phone # later.

i originally ordered my maps on line at nancy chandlers website and she delivered them to our hotel. they were waiting for us upon arrival.

ok..maybe if i had had time to look them over before hitting the city at a running pace....and maybe if i had a magnifying glass to help me read the tiny print jammed between monopoly buildings....

i'm going to find the maps and give em another try

I can't believe this..I already received my map from easygoing.com. Two business days! They even called to make sure I got it. I wish all transactions were this easy.
