my bromo hotel help ?????????????
everybody has said to sleep on the mountain. lava view lodge is booked. in the lonely planet book theres a place called hoyel bromo permai 1 . when i pull it up it says its in sarabaya and not the cemoro lawang area. anybody have any other suggestions on where to stay or what area ? thanks

Lava View is the only one I'm personally familar with. I'd check the list from Wikitravel:

I stayed at Bromo Cottage (http://www.bromocottages.com/). It's only a 30 minute or so drive from the rim. Not fancy, but good enough for the half-night sleep you get when seeing Bromo.
