Tamar, I did a Pandaw cruise on the Irrawaddy in October which I really enjoyed. I've just finished a trip report about it but the cruise is only the last part of the report as I did 8-9 days on land before the cruise. If you are interested see Loved Myanmar, but it will be a while before I want to see another golden pagoda
I've not done a Mekong cruise so I can't make a comparison for you.

We haven’t done a cruise as such but have rented individual boats to get around much of the Mekong Delta, often spending several weeks there, usually en route to Cambodia. It is a fascinating part of Vietnam and full of interest and, although I have yet to visit Burma, from reading shandy’s excellent post linked above, I do think it lacks the ore spectacular sights along the Irrawaddy.
There are several posts with lots of photos in the Vietnam section of our blog @ https://accidentalnomads.com/category/vietnam/ . I particularly like the area around Chau Doc.
in addition to Pandaw, you may wish to have a look at Mekong Eyes. We saw a couple of their boats on our travels and they looked very nice!

We took an AMA Waterways Mekong cruise from Cambodia to Vietnam. It was wonderful, 100 passengers, heavily Australian. We explored villages we never would have seen otherwise. It was so much better and more intersting than the river cruises we took with Viking in Europe.
We had hoped to take a river in Myanmar but will not travel there now with their human rights violations toward the Rohinga.

I’ve seen both rivers from a Pandaw, Mekong first in 2010, then the Irrawaddy in 2013. I liked their ships, their crews, the sights/activities and the food on both trips. What specifically would you like to know?
