Manila or Bangkok?
Dear Fodorities friends!!
I´m finishing my plan trip to Asia and need some help to arrive in Manali and depart from Bangkok, Is there something to do in 2-3 days in Manila?
After 3 days in Beijing i have a choice to arrive in Manila or Bangkok, my plan after that is to flight Bali stay 8-10 and 4-5 days in Phuket with a stopover in Singapore if have a day.
Travelling with Air China i could depart or arrive Manila or Bangkok with the same price.
Thank you!

My plan to stay in bangkok was around 4 days, but now i wanna stay 2 days in Bangkok and 2 days in Manila.
This flight from NYC helps me to stop in Beijing as well during 3 full days.
I prefer outdoors activities than big city..
Is there some nice tour from Manila?

Two days doesn't give you a lot of time for too many things.

Usually you sign on to a tour one day and leave the next morning. Maybe your hotel can help set you up with a tour. What you see is up to you but you really can't stray too far from Manila since it is two days. For Manila I stay in the Ermita area of Manila. If you are interested there is a "light and sound show" for Corregidor if you like history.
(You can go cheaper than this company. I signed on to this at the pier 5-8 years ago.)

For Bangkok - same same. Local travel agencies can provide tours you choose in person. Also some hotels can provide tours. But you are only in Bangkok for 2 days. City tours, Ayudthaya; maybe "Flight of the Gibbon" if you have the time to set this up.

A Google check will give you some of the things to do in both cities.
My choice I would go with Bangkok for all four days.
Good luck.

In Manila, you can take a day trip to Mount Pinatubo. The trip will bring you up to the crater of tthis active volcano. Beauiful scenery!
In Manila, there is a famous manila tour by Carlos Celdran in Intramuros or the walled city. Its worth a trip! You will learn alot about Manila and the culture.

I agree with travelnmymind, on Carlos Celdran's tour of the Old, walled City aka Intramuros area. This is is a very historic area that dates back to the time when the Philippines was colonized by Spain. The area also has some of the oldest Catholic Churches in Manila, the Manila Metropolitan Museum and a lively nightlife with many restaurants, bars and live band performances, usually in some big hotels' lounge.
Nearby is also the super sized shopping mall ( some say the biggest in Asia )' the Mall of Asia if shopping is your thing. But then if you're going to Bangkok, you might find better deals there depending on what you are planning to buy. In either case, you will find your $$$ goes a long way in Manila and Bangkok for both shopping, entertainment and dining out.
