Lost Luggage NRT- Where to shop?
I arrived in Tokyo Narita safe and sound. But without luggage. I need to go emergency shopping tomorrow- i need a suit, shoes, 2 shirts, some makeup. I'm staying in the Shiodome area. Any suggestions? Help, please?

Sorry you have not had any replies yet even though your posts sound urgent. I've never been to Tokyo so can't specifically help you.
But...what suggestions are you looking for anyway? Just go out to the shops and buy whatever you need. Tokyo is a city with everything..I'm sure your concierge could easily send you on your way to the nearest departmental store more easily than any of us on the forum.
Hope you get your luggage back soon. All the best.

I just checked and Veus Fort is a shopping center for ladies in Odaiba, close to Shiodome area, across the Sumida river by monorail I believe. The site is in Japanese but they have all kinds of ladies wear stores, 140 stores.
I'd probably hit the dept stores in GInza if it was me.

Please let me know how it goes. I would like to hear how much it all costs - would just like to compare the cost of these kind of living expenses w/the U.S. I looked at the dept. stores for a few things like handbags (much more expensive) but not clothes. I could never fit into Japanese shoes, I have 9 1/2 wide feet and very hard to fit.
Good luck!! Is the airline paying for the replacements at Japanese prices?

well... went to gap- complete bust as the largest size is 10- but honestly not a US size 10 (went to the US last week and fit into gap size 10 fine). no button downs etc. then went to eddie bauer- everything was petite- no go. then went to talbots- they had normal trousers but all too casual- more like black kakis...tried on a petite suit just because and it fit great (i'm 150lbs, 5 foot 9). bought a top onsale. went to ungilo and bought bra and knickers- the bra doesn't fit great but ok. they went to washington ginza for shoes- i'm a 9 1/2 and the size 36cm fit fine- they sent me to their big size store b/c the normal store only goes up to 34cm. then went to drug store for eyeshadow, mascar, lipstick, hand washing powder. all in all a pretty productive 2 hours- be warned most of these shops open at 11am. Cost: Talbots- Black Crepe Skirt/Jacket + Rayon Shell=45,230 yen. Shoes: Nice leather black shoes=13,340 yen. bra + 2 pairs of knickers: 2,980 yen. total=61,650 yen or $533 usd. all in all i didn't think it was bad-
