Manga stores in Tokyo

Where are the large manga/anime stores in Tokyo selling the latest popular manga merchandise? My manga fanatic teenage daughter (and myself) may be going to Tokyo in May. We'll be staying in the Tama area but will probably go to Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku. Any in Harajuku?

Check here - this info was upadted last summer.

Mandarake is the big place to go in Shibuya and Shinjuku. The best is one Nakano Mall location.

Also the stores in Akihabara are good, esp. Aso Bit City 9which I don't see on this list)

mandarake site regarding Nakano store:

you can get info on the other mandarake locations there also.

Nakono mall is also a very interesting place to shop for a Mom. Loved it, bought some tea canisters and hand made beded jewelry there; also a neat place there to get a reflexology foot massage. Lots of cool shops.

Thank you! This is a big help for planning our itinerary. The foot massage is a must on my "to do" list.
