Looking for Vietnam travel consultant

Wife and I are thinking about Vietnam with possible Cambodia added on in Feb 2024. We want independent travel with private guides on occasion. Is there a reputable service that can help us plan this? Preferably fee based though we’d likely book Ha Long cruise and Mekong cruise through the tour operator. Probably 14-17 days.Thanks.

Hi
Someone here highly recommended: https://www.indochinavoyages.com/

While I have not gone on a trip with them yet, so cannot vouch either way, they do seem very helpful in the planning stage thus far... and seem to specialize in Vietnam.

Best of luck.

One of 5 best travel agencies in Vietnam is Oriental Bridge Travel
www.orientalbridgetravel.com
It is specialized in Halong Bay, where they even have their own 2-cabin private junk Oriental Sun, trekkings (Sapa, Bac Ha, Pu Luong) and itineraries combining the "Must see" with sites very little visited or not at all.

Don't look for any consultant instead watch some travel vlogs, they will assist you in a better way!

Don't look for any consultant

Says whom ? They know the country better than somebody who has spent 2 weeks in the country and wrote a blog about WHAT HE SAW ONLY, when the travel agency employees LIVE inVietnam

A few days before and after Feb 10th 2024 (The first day of Tet holiday, Lunar New Year in Vietnam) may impact your trip.

Unfortunately, it is no longer "a fewx days", but a good week before and after ; as a matter of fact, it takes 2 weeks in Hanoi before everything is back to normal

We actually don’t arrive in Vietnam until Feb 17. Because of Tet we were advised to go to Cambodia first.
