Thaks for finishing the report, Laurie. (So it looks like there are at least 3 of us awaiting the conclusion of your very eventful trip.)
Do have a wonderful time in Singapore and Bali!
By the way, your "treatment" (champagne in your room) for Eric being ill struck me as very appropriate...

HT, lol! What on earth made you think of me at the wine cellar? Do I remember correctly, is there a possibility you and Linda will be in Tokyo at the begining of April? Eric and I will probably be there. There could be a decent GTG going on there.
Bob, you can never go wrong with the Peninsula. But do check out the Hilton. If you like modern, you'll love this place. I'm not sure you'll like the pool though. It's kind of strange and not that pretty. It's very modern but not done nearly as well as the Pen's, which is also very modern but much nicer. I don't know the name of the restaurant at the Marriott we ate at, they all pretty much had the same menu! It was outside right next to the boat landing.
lcuy--we will indeed be in Boston for the Oct GTG. Looking forward to meeting you!
