Laos Visa
I am planning a trip to Laos and Cambodia later this year. The logistics of my trip so far will take me from Bangkok to Pakse for the Asian-Oasis 3 day Mekong River Trip. After that I plan to fly from Pakse to Siem Reap for 5 days, then on to Luang Prabang for 4 days. My question is, Once I get the Visa in Pakse, will I have to get another at the airport in Luang Prabang since I will spend 5 days in Cambodia in between? You guys have been such a wealth of information and I do so appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks

Yes, you will need a second visa when you re-enter Laos after Siem Reap. Some countries offer multiple entry visas, I don't know whether Laos does, but if they do, you would have to get it in advance rather than at the border.

Laos does not have a double entry visa so you will need to get two. One at the Chong Mek border crossing for Pakse and one at rhe Luang Prabang airport when you arrive there. Each will cost 30us and be good for 30 days. When you arrive in Siem Reap the visa will be $20 for Cambodia.

Thanks so much for the info. Sounds like its not too much trouble, and only an extra $30. I will make sure to bring 4 passport photos with me. This works out much better for my itinerary.
