KUL: Pick a flight, any flight
Have to book our final flights for our upcoming Indonesia trip very soon and I'm stuck with the choice between an Indonesia AirAsia flight to KUL (from Bali) @ 6 AM (arrives @ 9 AM) or a 1:25 PM (arrive @ 5:30 PM) on (regular) AirAsia.
We won't have a lot of time in Kuala Lumpur: only the day we arrive, the next (full) day and the 3rd day we leave for our flight home around noon.
Given the limited time we'll have in KL, I'm inching towards the 6 AM flight, but good God that's EARLY--and no guarantee of being able to check-in to Traders that early.
Any suggestions? Which would you pick?
BTW, I'm fully expecting our AirAsia flights to completely change times anyway--so this question could all be for naught, but let's go for it anyway!

Personally, I'd take the later flight. KL is ok, but there isn't all that much to do IMO. You'll have enough time to get a taste.
Hmmm... Why is the first flight 3 hours and the second 4 hr. 15 min? Where does the second one stop? Having a stop in there would sway me to the earlier flight.

Good point, Hanuman! Didn't really think of that. Scratch 3 AM. You don't wanna see this guy at 3 AM--it's not a pretty sight.
No stop that I know of, Kathie. I just got that wrong--it departs 2:25, not 1:25.
I just felt like the first night would be a wash getting there after dark--always harder (at least for me) to get a feel for the lay-of-the-land of a city when you arrive at night.

Darkness is closer to 7:00 pm in May, so you may have some sunlight left by the time you get to the hotel (then again, maybe not, since you're landing at the LCCT and won't have easy access to the train).
I need to be making my plans soon too.
