Koh Samui, Aleenta similar

Hi,

I'm planning my honeymoon for this July and I'm looking for a beach destination in Thailand where we'd be spending 3 or 4 days. I looked at the Aleenta web site (www.aleenta.com) and it has everything I'm looking for (private villa, the door is one step from the beach and an accesible price of $150/n) except the beach. I understand that Koh Samui has better beaches than Pranburi (white sand, clear water) but I haven't found any resort similar to the Aleenta. Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thanks for your advise!

I heard that Tongsai Bay Grand Villas is luxurious and nice, but I haven't stayed there before.

Instead, I have stayed twice in Muang Kulaypan (at the tip of Chaweng Beach) which is very stylish and has good service. I love spending the days in their salas by the beach. Though it is not as luxurious, they do have a honeymoon suite.

There are lots, July is peak season for Samui, anyway take a look at this list, you can sort it by price and also by beach and will give you lots of browsing, you can also click on 'reviews' to see totally honest reviews, the good and the bad. The Baan Haad Ngam might be what you are looking for.

I really like Pranburi beach. Yes, it is not as white as Samui, but you would be hard press to find a beach as pristine and quite as Pranburi, unspoiled by other sight of tourists, as it is relatively less known. Pranburi beach is also long, perfect for the long walk at sunset. Also, I have not found any other hotels like Aleenta where you can really take advantage of having a real "beach vacations". At Aleenta, you can see the sea from your bed in all rooms, no need to get up, walk through the hotel, the corridor, etc, to get to the beach to enjoy it.

I've looked at the The Baan Haad Ngam and it looks great! Only thing is that I didn't see any beach front Villas. Is there any other of the type (private Villa, great beach) with beach front option? I don't mind if price goes up a bit.

Thanks everybody for your previous replies!
