It should be cold in January. It is an uphill walk to the hotel...perhaps 10-15 degree slope.

Thank you for info. I am now looking at Sunroute Sopra Kobe near Sannomiya. Looks to be equidistant from the two main train stations and fairly reasonable. Thank you.
