Internet cafes in Kyoto?

Are there internet cafés in Kyoto? If yes, do the computers there have Western keyboards?

Don't know about the keyboards, but check cybercafe.com for or a list of internet cafes by city/country.

Two years ago there was only one internet cafe in Kyoto that we could find. It had western keyboards on some of the computers.

There is a place you can use next to the Kyoto train station. It is not exactly a cafe but you can use their computers. Their charges were quite cheap.

Sorry me again - the "internet cafe" is opposite the train station about a 5 min walk. Go towards the restaurant which serves sushi and cross at the traffic controlled crosswalk. Its on the corner next to a deli. You have to go up a lift-I think there is a photo developing shop on the bottom.

The JNTO has a tourist office in the Kyoto train station office which has internet computers available for 100Y per 15 minutes. There's a tourist office on the bottom floor, but they will direct you to the upstairs office which is for foreign tourists and has English speaking personnel, a library of books and maps, as well as the computers.
