Just wondering if anyone has stayed at any of the following properties in Kochin and if you might have any feedback:

Purity at Lake Vembanad
Brunton Boatyard
Taj Malabar Resort and Spa

We are looking for a place to stay for 3 nights prior to heading out on a kayaking trip of the Kerela backwaters. They all look very nice and like great places to rest up after 25 hours in transit. Purity might be too much like the trip we will be about to embark on (the backwaters experience), and Taj Malabar looks like to might be an issue to get into the heart of Kochi to do some exploring. Open to any thoughts or other suggestions!
