Hotel de la Paix Angkor

In planning our trip for October, I was close to booking the Victoria. I looked on the website for this hotel, due to open in 12 days and it looks fabulous with incredible soft opening prices. I thought I remembered someone posting to this board who is booked there. Would love feedback.

I have booked this hotel for late October so hopefully all of the bugs will be worked out by then. The opening deals are really great, and I have had a really great experience getting information via email from the staff there. They seem extremely friendly and willing to share information, so hopefully this is a good sign about the service culture there. Please post if you actually stay there and let us know what your experience was like.

It is located right in town and looks great. Samins, did you use a web-booking service or did you contact the hotel directly. If you have a means to contact the hotel directly and could share...that would be great! I will be in Angkor at the end of this month and might just give this a try!

Samins, we'll be there in mid-October, will post as soon as I return. I haven't received a reply yet from the hotel so I would appreciate info on a direct contact with them. Orangeboy, the hotel opens in 11 days, according to the website but if you don't stay there, perhaps you will be able to check it out for us. Looks great from the website. It appears to be associated with the Shinta Mani.

Yes, Noelene answered our email and has been very responsive, is going to take pix and send them to us. We decided to book a suite, given the great promotional rates and our need to recover from jet lag!
