Hi
For an alternative we stayed at the Royal Phare Hotel - http://www.hotel-royalphare-paris.com - in the 7th. This is 79E a night for a double superior room. Reading the comments on Trip Advisor this hotel must be close to the Hotel de la Bourdonnais.
The Royal Phare was clean and in an excellent location. Our room (no.701) faced the street and was on the 7th floor so we had a lovely view. The room is small, though adequate but I don't think it had airconditioning. However given the room rate, location and helpful English speaking staff I would definitely stay here again.
I hope this helps.
