Hong Kong - Tian Tan Buddha
Hi, Hubby and I will be spending 3 days in Hong Kong next month and would like to visit the Tian Tan Buddha, Lantau Island. Our hotel is located on Nathan Road and I was wondering what would be the easiest way to get to Lantau Island?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I took a ferry but it appears you can take the Metro (among other means):

Here's the ferry I took, more fun than the Metro, I think, and will land you on the rural side of the island, rather than the airport side:

We took the metro and the bus out there. The bus ride was fine, actually quite scenic. Neither of us wanted to do the cable car.
