Things not to miss: 1) Go to the Hong Kong History Museum for the Hong Kong Story Exhibition which gives an execellent account of Hong Kong historical development from a fishing village to a modern city today with many interesting cultural and colonial exhibits. Free admission every Wednesday. It's just 20 minutes walk from your hotel or 5 minutes bus ride from Star Ferry bus terminal. 2) Go to the beautiful (Chinese) Tea Museum in Hong Kong Park in Admiralty on Hong Kong island and then take a short tram ride there to Central. Get off at Central Market and take the escalator ride (one of the longest esalators in the world) up to Hollywood Road. Take a walk along Hollywood Rd and visit the nearby curio market for the antique Chinese furniture and Chinese curio and old second hand stuff.
