the imperial is considered on the of the best hotels in delhi....there are a number of other 5 star hotels in delhi as well all centrally located....

i suspect you do not want to pay that price however based on your previous stay...just guessing....that is why i asked for a price range....without it it is almost impossible for us to make suggestions....why not give us a price range?? $50-100, not over $200. ...$59.95, etc...

I guess what u want is a good guesthouse, as something on par with Master Paying.Actually, that place is pretty unique, but u might try one of the guesthouses in the beautiful upscale New Delhi neighborhood of Sundar Nagar, as it is probably my favorite area to stay when in budget mode and wanted something quaint and freindly. There are about five guesthouses there, such as La Sangrita, Jukasco Inn, Maharani, and the bit more upmarket buy very lovely Shervani Fort View..This neighborhood is definately one of my faveorites in all of Delhi, very peaceful and green and beautiful too, with a lovely park and a nice market for arts and crafts and a great and very famous sweet shop too, for breakfast, or rather, sweets anytime,,..Also, this area of Sundar Nagar is quite close to my favorite local market of Khan Market, for just about everything. Guesthouses in this posh locale will run u around $60-75, thought he Shervani is a bit more, maybe $100 these days...Oh, and u may want to glance thru the other big Delhi hotel thread with a bit more pointers and ideas...Do drop me a line if u wld like more info at [email protected] Happy to help.
