You can experience more and better in this budget and time period you have. You have to take care of few important factors before you choose where to go and what to see.

1. Dobit of research work on net. I think PUSHKAR and some places are being pushed by some TA because they are popular among overseas people. AVOID IT.

2.Do not concentrate on RAjASTHAN only- there is lot to see and feel in another parts of INDIA. I would sugest to make a NORTH INDIA TRIP where you cover some mountain region also and some plains also.

Lot of discussion may confuse you-for example: recently I used a/c train for reaching AGRA and after visiing TAJ and RED FORT we were back in DELHI by dinner time by train. This is max. 2 hrs train journey and you do not have to stay night in AGRA-this is utter useless expenditure.

This can be done with ease and there are few pointers too for AGRA.

Always have guides when you see somehting like TAJ and RED FORT beacuse they explain very nicely.

RANTHAMBORE ,JAIPUR and JAISALMER are good.

I am sure you will be able to make a good plan.
