I have been a Big fan of this site!

Where to start! Need alot of advice and comments about almost everything! I have searched through this forum but need more info!!

I will be traveling in two weeks to Ko Samui to Anantara for my honeymoon! I am thinking about scuba diving (although may not be the best of seasons) sea-kayaking....I hear the ones the hotel provides are too expensive? I realize Samui is a resort and so I am not expecting to be too stringy but anywhere I can go for reasonable prices? Where to go for sea-kayaking?

Also, any "must go" restaurants in the area? Any recommendations? I would love to find reaaal authentic thai food...

Not much. It is for R&R. But a day trip to Koh Tao for snorkeling on the speed boat-NOT the Big boat is well worth it.
In fact we made 2 trips to different locations around Koh Tao. The snorkeling around Samui is marginal at best.If you are in your 20-35 age group there are "bar scenes" but for the 50+ crowd dinner was the evening.

There is not much to sightsee in Samui but a lot of sports and activities if you are that kind of person. Take a look at the website for Rocky Resort - www.rockyresort.com - it has listed on there info about activities you can do - kiteboarding, mountain biking tours, kayaking trips (go to Ang Thong), rock climbing amongst other things. Also check out www.siamspaguide.com - for luxurious treatments, particularly look at Tamarind Springs spa for something a little different.

We ate in Bophut the other night at the Happy Elephant and that had nice cheap thai food but you can also get lovely seafood there - costs a bit more though.

Also do a search for Kia Ora Samui and you will find a lovely catamaran to go out on for the day, afternoon or evening

In Bophut where Anantara is situated there were tonnes of dive shops and tour agencies etc, you will have no problem booking things outside of the hotel. A friend who is a divemaster recommended Easy Divers on Samui as a good outfit.
