Has anyone travelled with Enchanting India???

Howdy all,

My folks are thinking of booking a trip with a company called Enchanting India (http://www.enchanting-india.com). They found the company over the internet and just want to see if anyone has reports (good, bad or otherwise) on their service etc.

Also, any tips on top places to visit would be great!
Cheers

Not much clue on this site. As for places to visit, it all depends on when you are going and what you would like to see.

I originally am from Mumbai, and do know quite a few places in India. So I MAY be able to give you some tips.

I would suggest your parenst try hard to get some feedback as that is very imp w.r.to a TA IMO. This site also has some other agent recos. India is a place where getting a TA to do a customized tour makes more sense than joining a tour IMO.

Last April 2009, we have spent 4 weeks in the North of India from Delhi to Calcutta with an extension in Assam (Kaziranga).
The tailor made journey was prepared by Enchanting India.

100 % satisfaction; no complaint; perfect.

1.during the preparation, we had good pieces of advice; excellent suggestions and quick response.
2. the drivers were reliable and excellent; the cars were cleaned.
3. the guides (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Benares, Calcutta, Khajuraho)were excellent (outstanding in Calcutta) and reliable.
4. the hotels/lodges met the expectations.
5.during the journey, frequent contacts by phone to assure everything was as planned.

100% hassle free journey.
