Gili Islands

I will arrive into bali on dec 24th at 10:25pm. I will have the 25th, 26th and on the 27th, i have reservations in ubud on the 27th at Alam Indah and to see putu the following morning(the28th). What to do with this time of 3 days ? Are the Gili islands doable for a couple of nights ? Should i just relax on the bali beaches ? Should i add more time in the ubud and northern areas (i have 4 days already for this)? Any suggestions ? I don't scuba dive but appreciate nice beaches ? also i'm very active and fit so maybe i can go hike a mountain or possibly go on a couple of long ubud hikes ? Ok will see what your suggestions are ....thanks !

i would not go all the way to the gilis, but rather i would consider a few days at qunci villas on lombok...its a great place...

you will love the alam chain...btw, they now have a place on the gilis...ask them about it...the daughter runs it...

Are you staying at the Alam Gili, owned by the same people as Alam Indah?
Their website has info on transport/ferry options to the gilis:
