Emergency posting from Casey

Tina got an 11:45 PM flight out of Chiang Mai and is departing on the next 6:50 AM UA flight to SFO what is the closest, isn't a complete dump, easy for a taxi driver to ge to, doesn't cost an arm and a leg hotel for Tina to get a little sleep if she wants?

There is a Comfort Inn, Rama Gardens and some others. Go to one of the booking sites like sawasdee.com and look at the hotels listed in the area of the airport.

Rama gardens should suite her fine, although I think for those crack of dawn US flights you have to taxi, I remember Bob saying the shuttle did not start until about 6 am, Rama is about 10 mins, good quality USD 55 single, Asia Airport is USD 32 and they have a free shuttle bus.

This is easy: Goes into sawadee also

That link casey shows each one in relation to Airport, I really would go for Rama for better quality of the Asia should be fine for cheaper.

Casey's wife had landed in Bangkok late at night and urgently needed a hotel nr airport to sleep in. No hotel had been booked as the flights were unexpected as her trip has had to be cut short.
