Driving to Davit Gareja

Driving to Davit Gareja
Renting a car @ Tbilisi Airport and taking the Kaheti Highway (302) toward Telavi. Any advice for drivng directions and where to turn off for the Davit Gareja Monasteries which I recall were a bit fuzzy and vague? Thanks

Hello Parmenter,
First drive to Sagarejo (take Kakheti highway first and then highway S5) and when you reach Sagarejo turn to David Gareja Monastery road. There must be some sort of sign.
There is also another road via Rustavi, but the first one is more picturesque and in a better condition.
Also I suppose you can use google maps.
