Discovery Pass(Bangkok Airways)
Anybody here know whether the Discovery pass is available for August 2004?
I'm interested for the flights Bangkok-Siem Reap and Bangkok-Phuket.
My travel agent is having problems to book it.
Thanks in advance.

You need to check their website. The promotions seem to change often. Note that Thai Air Asia is a Budget carrier on the BKK-Phuket route with very very cheap fares, also Phuket Air although only 1 -2 flights per day also cheap, but Thai Air Asia is Cheapest. Another airline ( provisionaly known as Sky Asia ) is due to launch by around June also on the Phuket route.
I personaly would book the Siem Reap deal but wait on Phuket ( pressume you know already that August is peak Monsoon rain time for Phuket area?)
You can find all those airlines in the Airlines Category on kooloo.com
Good luck

I just booked our flights for Bangkok-Phuket and Bangkok-Siem Reap in July today using the Discovery Pass. I called Bangkok Air in Los Angeles (I live in Seattle) and they checked availability and reserved it over the phone. I have until March 31 to mail them the payment (cashiers check or money order only). They will mail the tickets to me before my departure to Thailand. They were very helpful. The fare on their website for Bangkok-Siem Reap is about US$299 and Bangkok-Phuket is about $140, with the Discovery Pass the fare for both destinations came to $270.30 incl. tax. We're saving about $500 for 3 people.
