Discount Tours China/Japan?

Trying to get a early start on travel plans for next summer. Interested in finding cheap/discount tour providers to China or Japan. Looking for someone that offers package trips (airfare, meals, etc.)

Depends on where you are coming from. Here are some U.S. tour providers you might want to check out:

Pacific Delight -
General Tours -
Gate 1 Travel -
Go Today -
Globus/Cosmos -

I have been on two trips with Intrepid one to China and one to Vietnam and now am going to Japan with them in Sept.
They are amazing value, small group...maximum no of people is 12, but you have to organise your own flights. When there we spent hardly any money on food etc and I would highly reccommend them.

Posts: 1,834 has some great deals to China, something like $799 or $899 to Bejing and Shanghai including airfare from the US.

Eight years ago we went to China, including the Yangtze cruise, with SmarTours and had a wonderful time! We met many groups and in talking, found that we all were doing the exact same things, but we were paying considerably less!! Their website can give you the dates and if you purchase before a set date, there is a discount. You can't go wrong with them (large groups, yes, but most were great!) Have gone on four other trips with them, also!
