Darn that Travel Channel!

I'm getting ready to embark on a major Middle Eastern adventure next week(Egypt,Jordan,Israel/West Bank)and what do I see on the Travel Channel tonight?The Delhi episode of "Bizarre Foods!"Now all I can think about is returning to India.TV watching really can be harmful...

I find watching the news a lot is a good counter-balance. I usually stick with the BBC, but if I really want to be scared of leaving the house, I'll switch to Fox.

I wonder what type of food they showed on the TV Channel ??
I am quite anxious to know what all the mentioned - and to tell you if that is as good as what they said.

Let me see.They covered alot.Lots of street food,of course.Some things I've had in India,but several I haven't.One was a foam made from the froth of milk and sweetened ,I believe served with coconut.
They went to the big Sikh temple and helped with the daily communal meal.
The host took part in a traditional Kashmari feast,something like 30 courses,most of them lamb.Here's a link with all of the particulars:
