The Conrad is in Tanjung Benoa. In Nusa Dua, there is a hotel called the Bali Hilton, but it hasn't been part of the Hilton group for years...the Indonesian owners pay a bit for use of the name, but it is not franchised anymore.

The Conrad has received glowing reviews since it's opening last summer. It seems to be lovely for couples.

I stayed there in June 2004, not long after it opened. Extremely comfortable bed with a great variety of pillows. The main building and the pool area are beautiful. Friendly staff seemed to be new at their jobs. Not much of a beach and the location is a bit remote. Wouldn't mind staying there again at all.

The new Conrad is a beautiful resort on a crummy beach. If they could just pick it up and plunk it down on a real beach they'd have they'd have a million dollar property, but as it is it's has one-sided in appeal.

The resort itself is lovely with lagoon pools connecting the the various buildings. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. There are several pleasant restaurants and the staff appears to be friendly and well trained.

The area is adjacent to Nusa Dua, but separate from the main Nusa Dua beach. It's not really convenient on foot to anything, though it's just a short taxi ride.

For some reason the sea just in front of the Conrad is rife with noisy polluting jetski's. The beach which is manmade is pitiful.

I'd also note that if you have young children the lagoon set up could be dangerous. For older kids who are strong swimmers it would be a lot of fun.
