Coconut Palm+BKK

I remember seeing directions to Coconut Palm restaurant one time, but am having trouble finding it now. Can anyone help? Any recommendations on what to have there?

Isn't that the place that Tong takes her clients? I've never been there, but if you search "Tong" you might find out more about it.

I'm sure someone here has been there and will report back. If Tong took them, they may not be exactly sure of the location.

When do you go back to BKK?

I am here in BKK now. We return to the states on Monday. It has been a great trip and the weather in Chiang Mai and BKK have been nice. No burning going on in CM when we were there.

From my notes:

394/3-5 Maharaj, opposite side of the street and a couple of blocks south/east from Wat Pho.

I remember the green curry chicken being good.

I was just reading Elizabeth_S's blog today. She went to Coconut Palm. I don't see the address or directions in her blog, but she does describe what they had (which was what Tong had recommended).

BKK Bob has this on his BKK dining list. We ate there twice during the last three weeks. We were the only Farangs in the place and it's inexpensive and good. We had Chicken green curry, (one time the chicken was a bit sinuey and not so good) Pad Thai, really good, chicken with cashew nuts (really good) - Thai spring rolls, v good too. We would go back there again and it's worth a visit.

During our 4 weeks in Thailand, our best Thai meals were at Harmonique a BKK Fodor's Favorite. - Coconut Palm It is just about across from Wat Po

Coconut Palm is at the corner of Maharaj and the small street that leads down to Aurum The River Place Hotel. If you go to their website, there is a link to a map with directions for taxi that you could use to get to Coconut Palm as well.
