I am planning on Viking's "Roof of the World" trip to China and Tibet with an add-on to Viet Nam. Date of departure is September 5th.
Has anyone had any experience with Viking? I asked them today about the turmoil in Llasa and when the tour company will make a decision on whether or not to keep Tibet in their itinerary, but all I received was what sounded like someone reading a written statement that they were handed down from management, basically saying that they are constantly reviewing the situation and will make the appropriate decision at the appropriate time. BLAH - BLAH - BLAH.
