You are too much! How do we keep the press away from such a gathering of an honored group of fodorites? I'm glad the numbers keep growing. Do we have a up to date list of who's who?

Son doesn't know yet if he will join us. He may stay on in BKK, once we get there! We just have to wait and see. At this point, it's 50/50.

Bob-you will glad to hear that I went to court and had the restraining order suspended and you will be permitted to visit Cambridge without security guards. I'm hoping there will not be a repeat of your last journey to the center of the universe.

Hey,Guenmai, Gpanda, rhkkmk, and the rest of you travevling crazies,...this is the first time i went into a question I didn't understand. I couldn't figure out what GTG was until I clicked on the question... I think it is totally awesome that you all GTG to meet, chat, laugh, and fry each other. It's so cool that you will all fly out of your way, to a totaly strange city to meet. I love reading your travel experiences, that way I get to travel through them until I can travel to asia next year if I can.
I do not live far from Boston,...and whoever said Needham is a boring place to tour...they are absolutly right. I am Needham born and raised..
rhkkmk, tell me more about your GTG planning.. I am so curious......I hope I am welcome one day to attend one of I am so glad I went into the GTG comment!!!!!lol China 105

I think it would be great if you could come to the next GTG. I'm hoping it will become an annual event. It really was very enjoyable.

China...The GTGs are a blast. I went to the Honolulu one in August 2005 which was incredible. And I just went to the Boston one which was a blast. There are really nice people and you get to swap travel info and talk, eat, and laugh one's head off...like sitting next to Gpanda. Plus, the best is that you get to put a face to a poster. The Boston one was the second one and if there's a third one, I plan to go and hopefully there will be another Honolulu one the first weekend in August like before. I'm saving my $400. airline voucher that I got on the way to the Boston one...for giving up my seat and flying about 10 hours later...One of the people at the Honolulu one also went to one in Paris, I think it was. Happy Travels!

China-Welcome. The GTG's are super. My condolences for your life sentence to Needham. No matter how nice the town may be, the proximity to Bob, AKA RhkKmk, must be frightening. I'm hopeful that we can appeal for a parole involving community service. We're setting up a halfway house in Cambridge to ease the transition back into the real world.

Legal Limerick

There once was a banker from Needham
Who whined that a lawyer did cheat him.
But if the truth were known
It would clearly be shown
The attorney earned Bob his freedom*.

*Please note that the charge was dropped to a misdemeanor and probation and an ankle bracelet (from Nana Jeweler) were involved.
