The address of the Marriott Resort & Spa
257/1-3 Chareon Nakorn Rd
You can go on the Marriott website and get additional info.
I stayed there a few years ago and the place is pure luxury. Try ther outdoor evening buffet, has everything you can image, a bit pricey, but it is super great.
If your flying in you can have hotel arrange for pick-up, but you can get a taxi for half the price, make sure it is a metered taxi, go out to the que taxi line, watchout for toutes as they will try to get you to take their transportation which will cost more.
I will be staying at the MKK in May, hope everything is still the same.
Have a good stay.

there are several ways....i like aac limo for about 800B ($20)...the hotel charges $36++ the last time i checked..
they (AAC) have a desk just beside the door which you take out to the taxi stand...come out from customs and turn left and go almost to the end of the hall following the taxi signs....ignor people who approach you, and many will...just say no and keep walking...
their e address is:
[email protected]
if you prebook they will have someone holding a sign with your name....same way out of customs....turn left as you exit...
they want cash...there are ATm's in back of their desk....60B for the tolls as well...
i find their service the best after a long flight especially...
you can also take a taxi but their trunks (boots) are very small so many suitcases will not fit...cost maybe about 300-400 B or less....plus toll...they may not know the way but aac will and with no hastles...
for your first arrival i would stick with aac...
car will be a mercedes or toyata

Go to the MS&R webpage, print it out and show it to the Taxi driver.
Then, always try to have a card from your hotel when you go out. The Thais begin learning English in the 3rd (?) grade, we were told. Most can read better English than they can speak it.
BTW, we had engaged Ratt for out stay in BKK and asked her if she could have a driver meet us (@ 0030) when our plane landed. We knew we'd be tired, confused and would want the comfort of seeing our name on a sign. I believe it cost between 400 and 500 BAHT, including the toll.
Our luggage (2 suitcases, 2 carry-ons, 2, backpacks) filled the trunk and front passenger's seat. As rhkkmk noted, the taxis are space efficient.

i always do a r.t. as you save 10% if you ask for it....maybe their prices have risen...in any case, it is worth every cent....
what is the current fare on their website??
thai companies are very poor at acknowledging reservations...if you request one and they come back with something it is safe to assume you have a res...
no problem if they did not make one for you....you just go to the desk and in 5 minutes you are on your way...many people do not make advance res....i just like to have them waiting...
