Don't know about Langkawi but Phuket any beaches has ladies who will do your nails, it is a very relaxing experience, they take a great deal of time, usually about B 150-180, so B 200 is fine if they have done well and you enjoy it! Therre are also ( if you don't want to do it on the beach ) countless beauty salons everywhere, Thais take a great pride in appearance and you would be wise to take the opportunity for manicure, pedicure, facial, hair, massage whilst you are there, one of the great joys in life!

I live in BKK and previously 3 years in Phuket, known Thailand for 15 years+, I am just lucky enough to have been to these places, though my opinions are only my own, based on what I have seen and where I have visited, we all like different things, I believe what we make out of a place is really 90%+ up to 'us', don't expect everything to be perfect, accept that things will and DO go wrong, learn not to worry about them, and realise how minor many so called 'problem' are in reality. I think you can enjoy any trip to any place if you can learn to relax, smile, and whenever in doubt, laugh!!

We went to Bangkok last July and had a fantastic time. I loved it there!We have travelled a lot in Asia and the US and always have a great time, no matter what.

I had my nails done at the spa in the Berjaya resort in Langkawi. I can't remember the exact cost but it was very cheap compared to the UK where I live!!

Donna, if you are traveling with your partner make him have his done too! I go once a week and have mine done, it's a great relaxant!!
