Baseball in Japan

Anyone know how far the Tokyo dome is from the Shinjuku area?

I found out there are games there when we will be visiting and I would luv to see a Japanese baseball game just for the experience of it.

Thanks!

Larry.

12 minutes by train from Shinjuku Station to Suidobashi Station, according to HyperDia.com

I recently bought tickets online for our upcoming trip in June. Got them, literally, the minute they went on sale. When I looked just now, there don't seem to be many seats left for our date. It was easy to buy them online and print them out at home.

Thanks for the replies. I found a website operated by someone from the Bavasi family as in the LA Dodgers so I think I can get tickets from there. It seems three teams use the dome as their home field so we'll see.
Thanks again, Larry.

The game will be a highlight of your trip! You have never seen such rabid baseball fans I can guarantee lol.
Thunder sticks!!

Since you will be in the area a trip back in time awaits you just behind the stadium a couple of minutes walk around the corner.....

A few quick questions: Is there much activity in the stadium prior to the game (thinking about arrival time)? And do people come around to the stands with food/drink or is it mostly purchased at concession stands? Are there programs for purchase in English (otherwise I will printout rosters before we leave). Any other tips??
