How about fun restaurants that welcome children, they are not fussy eaters and like to try new things (aged 10 & 13 ) I read something about the rooftop of river city and cooking your own food that sounded good and i've emailed Sirocco to see if they accept children, the view looks so amazing on their website that i think even my slightly annoying, fidgety 10 year old will be dumbstruck!!!
We will be staying at the Peninsula so an idea of how to get to these places would be good, are the cabs safe??

Hey, kuranosuke, I see someone else has dined at Somboon. That's where we ate last night. It was wonderful!! The crab curry was one of about 10 dishes we had in the middle of the table on the lazy susan. Great meal!!

I'm adding another place to this list of favorites, although I've not gone back to reread this whole thread, so pardon me if it is already on the list. Face on soi 38. Wow, what a nice place, and what great Thai food. The crab curry was even better than at Somboon!
