Bali and Lombok will have the same kind of weather. I've visited in December several times. While there is some rain, it's not all day and it's not every day. I found it didn't interfere with my activities at all.

When I went to Bali, it was in December, and it was pouring raining, but not all of the time. I remember it would come down very hard and then stop and clear up a bit. But the downpours I experienced were intense. Happy Travels!

You'll appreciate this story, Guenmai. On my first trip to Bali, we arrived after it was dark, checked into our hotel, had something light to eat and went to bed. In the middle of the night, I was awakened by this roaring sound - to my ears it sounded like a chainsaw. I got up and opened the doors to our balcony to see what the noise was and realized that it was the rain! For a Seattlite, that was a revelation.

I was in Bali in Dec couple of years ago and we lucked it - did not rain a single day of our 3 days at Jimbaran and of our 4 days in Ubud similar experience to Guenmai i.e. couple downpours during the 4 days but they cleared up within minutes.
