Lori, you are a goddess. Fish head curry, eh? Brave woman. Was there actual fish there, or is the head just used for flavor? The noodles look fab too.
You like to photograph feet don't you?
Great pix.

In these parts, there's a lot of story in a photograph of someone's feet.
The fish head had lots of meat on it as it's cut actually way down past the head. Of course there's the cheek meat (most delectable) and the eyes (not for everyone) None of those pesky little bones like the fillet would have. Two people could easily share this dish; it was a ridiculous amount of food, served of course with a mile high pile of rice.
I've been scrounging up recipes for this soup and I saw some pretty fresh looking fish heads in the new Lucky Market. When my creuset gets here, It will be the first thing I attempt. I may need to fly back to singapore with a zip lock baggy and send the curry to some lab for analysis (recipe supposedly a big secret). Heh.

In between the many meals I had on this trip, I took some photos of all the beautiful shutters.

Photos of Borobudur were not exceptional. Only posted a few. There is no way to capture anything about the monument with a camera, but the experience is firmly imprinted .

Lori, my favorite out of your signs photos is "Life favours those who see things differently."
And your collection of shuters brings back memories. Cheryl made a page of shutters from Penang as well.
