Hmmm..thanks for the reply...how's the humidty and heat temps in late May? I don't take well to both if humidty is high ( above 65%) and temps are in the 90's....I do understand bagiuo is in the montains though so that should be cooler.
What is the attaction to baguio anyway..other than being in the mountains?
This'll be first time in that country for me..

At the moment, it is very hot in Manila...around 34 degrees Celsius (93F) at peak. Humidity is about 60 percent.
Baguio is a different story though. Temp ranges from 55F to 80F. Humidity is 50 percent.
Attraction to Baguio...hmmm...there's Camp John Hay where you can relax, walk around and maybe even play mini golf. You can also stroll and take a boat ride at Burnham Park. Maybe ride horse in Wright Park and see the beautiful flowers in Botanical Garden.

Baguio. I was there in August,2005 for 2 nights. Over there for business. We drove to Baguio from Manilla. Took approximately 7 hours.
Amazed how cool and comfortable it was there. From memory, Baguio is about 5,000 feet (1,500 meters) above sea level.
Stayed at Camp John Hay for the two nights. Amazed to see a Starbucks in Baguio as well.

We were in Baguio several years ago. Its cooler and a place to relax from the frenetic pace and heat of Manila but not much to see and do. The traffic has gotten worse there as well. You can fly there in about an hour if you prefer.
