I haven't heard anything bad about them except that their cancellation/change fees are unclear and strictly enforced. But with any web booking site, it is a hassle to cancel and you'll end up paying something to do it. One thing to consider booking this early...do you want to prepay for something that you will have 9 months from now?

thats the dilemma- lots of things are indeed already sold out at xmas it seems
and what there is is very expensive (I need 2 rooms)
if I wait and try to book later on discount sites, I may well be out of luck
if asia web is a reputable company I may take the chance and book now so I at least know I have a place at the beach
thanks for your help on all my posts KimJapan!

no, I do mean asiawebdirect.com--
it is the site that frequently pops up when I google a hotel, as a discount site to book. it is one of the only sites that has prices and bookings avail this far ahead (makes me a bit suspicious!) but the sites do look profesisional, for what that is worth. I would love to know if anyone has used them!
thanks
